Response to initial call was immediate. Job bidder was timely and polite and never overbearing or pushy. His estimate was spot on.
Both owner and crew were professional and attentive to all aspects of this job. Tore out an inordinate amount of very old, dirty insulation (plus various creatures), cleaned, fogged, re-insulated and installed sealed vapor barrier. Replaced vent screening as needed. Additionally built a tight fitting entry door (never had one of these) and installed shingles on existing crawl space entry lid. Left area spotless. Feeling snug and breathing better. Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing crawl space restoration.

Remove nasty vapor barrier and replace with 21 mil white Canvex, sealed and secured. Remove old rodent damaged heater duct insulation. Seal leaky heater ducts. Insulate the sub-floor. Block all rodent and animal access points.

The owner Doug Holsinger came out within a day of initial contact. Doug spent an hour and half crawling in every crack and cranny of our old home's crawl space. He took pictures, identified problems and explained everything perfectly. Clearly this was the most professional of the other contractors we had bid, but also the most expensive. We did not respond for a few weeks as we thought about the pros and cons with going with a less expensive contractor, but finally Doug's obvious professionalism and the good Angie reports won us over.
When we called Doug and told him he had the job, he came back over the next day to confirm everything and go over the job with us again. They began the job the following week. His gang was clean and professional and clearly enjoy their work. The job took one day longer then expected, but they did several things not included in the bid and we where so happy with the work we were witnessing that it did bother us a bit.

I can not emphasize how professional these guys are, they cleaned up so well every day they even took some of our garbage from a remodel job we are doing at the same time. They tied wires back up, removed old pipes and non-functioning old heater ducts all not part of the original bid. It is not fair to compare what other crawl space contractors do as it is like comparing apples and oranges, or more appropriately a Porsche to a VW bug.

The crawl space seriously looks so nice that I invite my friends when they come over to check it out. Who shows off their crawl space to friends?..... I do, now!

Water leaking into the crawl space, missing insulation, disconnected ducting and lots of debris

We needed an inspection done quickly due to an early closing date. Doug gave us a comprehensive list of what needed to be done, explained the problems and solutions, and also showed us photos of what he'd found on his inspection. He then sent us a comprehensive estimate for the work. Doug and his crew arrived on time and were very professional at all times. Everything identified in the inspection was rectified, including taking out the old vapor barrier and installing a new one. There were drainage issues that were outside Doug's scope of work so he said he'd call a friend who would be able to help us.

At lunchtime I took friends to see the house to show them the work being done in our remodel. As we are downsizing my husband is losing lots of space. When we arrived at the house Doug's crew were vacuuming up loose debris in the crawl space after they completed the work, and Doug proceeded to explain to us exactly what work they had done. On looking down into the crawl space my comment to Doug was that David would have his large 'man-cave' after all; the crawl space would be just perfect!

Rodents had gotten into my crawlspace and torn down all the insulation, dryer vent and some ductwork. The vapor barrier was ruined as well.

Doug, the owner did the estimate, which he adhered to perfectly, then the crew came in and replaced all the old insulation (including wrapping pipes and ductwork) and vapor barrier, closed any openings that allowed further rodent access, set traps and then came back to check traps a few days later.

The crew arrived on time and the job was completed in two days.  This was an expensive repair, but I feel I got great value from Crawlspace Solutions.  They did a very thorough job.  I had someone else to do the repairs in 2010, wish I'd had Doug do it then!

Performed and presented very detailed inspection report, removed old insulation and debris from crawlspace, replaced insulation, sealed ducts, wrapped and insulated ducts and pipes, sealed and screened vermin entry points, neutralized mold, odors, and insects.

My home has had an ongoing vermin issue and I live in an area that is saturated with springs. I also had some concerns about the crawlspace ductwork. I called Doug to inspect and give me an estimate for any work that might need to be done.

Doug Holsinger the owner and Ryan showed up exactly when promised to perform the inspection.  After the inspection I received a complete and professional briefing of what they found and my options.  What stood out during the briefing to me was both Doug and Ryan knew what they were talking about and it felt like they were looking out for my interests along with their own. They were also very good about telling me what did or did not need to be done under my home and why.  Based on our conversation and a follow up, Doug sent me a bid which I ultimately accepted.

The Crawlspace Solution crew was right on time in the matching white crawlspace vans. I wish I could say more about the crew but they were pretty much invisible as was the debris from the crawlspace.  They are a well oiled machine! Ryan built me an amazing hatch cover which I wasn't expecting and they eliminated the movement in my floor.

Removed and cleaned all old insulation and ground cover from crawl space to include floor, furnace ducts and pipes, sanitized the dirt, inspected and secured all furnace joints, installed new and improved insulation and ground cover throughout the crawl space.

Called for estimate and Doug (Owner) arrived on day scheduled.  Job material arrived day before job was scheduled.  Doug and work team arrived promptly on day scheduled. The team was very professional, clean, polite and courteous.  Job site was kept neat and clean at the end of each day.  Cost was a little higher than other estimates but well worth it due to the pros mentioned above.  Great Quality and Workmanship!  Great Job!

Type of Work:
Removed rodent contaminated vapor barrier and sub-floor insulation. Installed new vapor barrier, main trunk line insulation and sub-floor insulation. Replaced damaged air ducts and closed off possible rodent intrusion points. Replaced crawlspace entry cover and rebuilt wood frame around entry.

Owner arrived promptly when called, inspected crawl space and took photos showing condition. Provide a detailed work statement and estimate. Discussed statement of work and answered questions about possible different approaches.

After selection for the job, work was begun within a day. Owner came with crew and introduced them and explained the work process.
Work was performed efficiently and completed within three days with little impact to us. All contaminated materials were removed from the site on the same day that they were taken out of the space.

Upon completion, the owner came and did a final inspection and took photos of the completed work. The amount charged was the same as the original estimate.  He left baited rodent traps and plans to return in a week to check for any activity.
